In 2017, the “Prosveshcheniye” group of companies, a major educational holding of Russia, took part in the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum for the very first time. DPG, the organizer for their participation, faced an enormous challenge: to strengthen the position of the “Prosveshcheniye” group of companies and to cultivate among Russian leaders an attitude toward education as one of the principle drivers of the country’s development.
The first day of SPIEF-2017 was marked by the opening of the innovation stand of the “Prosveshcheniye” group. The topic of neural pathways on which architectural space and design are based became simultaneously a metaphorical reflection on cognitive processes and a reflection of the network structure of digital economics.
The development of education in our country, current trends, and prospects were discussed at a meeting of the president of the “Prosveshcheniye” group and the Russian Federation's minister of education and science, within the frame of their business breakfast, “Education in Regions: Expenses or Investments?” Participants at this business breakfast included governors of the largest regions of Russia.
The second day of the forum continued with the question, “Revolution in Education: Are We Ready?” The panel session agenda, developed by DPG in cooperation with National Research University—Higher School of Economics (NRU HSE), brought together leaders of major international companies, Russian state figures, and experts in related areas.
The modern, multimedia content presented at the stand, the panel session, and the business breakfast became the connecting links of the project.
The result of the large-scale PR campaign awareness for the “Prosveshcheniye” group's participation at SPIEF exceeded all planned indexes. The stand was visited by numerous journalists covering ceremonies of signing contracts and agreements. The heads of the “Prosveshcheniye” group were invited to participate in live broadcasts from Russian TV studios and radio stations.
