Leaders of “Sheremetyevo” set a challenging task before DPG: to renew symbols of the country’s largest airport, not only by telling about the changes taking place in “Sheremetyevo,” but also by preserving the already formed nature of the brand, reflecting the quality of the services rendered as well as the company’s intrinsic values system.<--(I'm not completely sure about this sentence--could you check to make sure this revision is accurate to what you want to communicate?) The project, focusing on the creation of a new corporate identity, included the development of a logotype, a slogan, and a website for the airport.
We proposed a bright orange sphere, as a symbol of the orient sun—a new milestone in the history of Russia's most famous airport. Three lines were used to stylize the first letter in the name “Sheremetyevo” (the Russian variant is “Шереметьево”), and at the same time of the airstrips (shortly after that, the number of airstrips really did increase to three).
As for the slogan of the airport—“Welcome anytime”—we invested into it the cordiality and care of “Sheremetyevo” employees, their readiness to make passengers’ stay in the airport's territory simple and pleasant, by means of harmonic inclusion of this stay into a forthcoming or just-finished air trip.
